WHO WE ARE
The Scientific Committee on Thermal Factors (SCTF) is an active research and analysis network of dedicated Scientists working for the protection of working people from excessive heat and cold exposures in current and future work environments.
SCTF is one of 37 Scientific Committees established by the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH). As global temperatures continue to rise, climate change will create serious health risks and undermine labour productivity in many vocations, creating new challenges in this area. The SCTF serves as a network of experts in this field across different countries and disciplines.
WHAT WE DO
As a global forum, we work on joint publications and consensus reports in the areas of heat-stress on occupational health and productivity.
